Summary Description: The Enrollment Counselor for the Adult Degree Program (ADP) is a full-time, benefit-eligible sales position, primarily responsible for recruiting students to achieve enrollment goals for specific programs. 
 
Essential Functions:
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies for the assigned programs to generate inquiries, applications and deposits that lead to achieving enrollment goals.
  • Exercise discretion and independent judgment regarding recruitment strategies for assigned programs, student contacts, and student relationship development.
  • Coordinate and evaluate admissions events and strategies including program effectiveness, assess outcomes, determine cost analyses, and develop improved programming to achieve enrollment goals.
  • Organize and execute daily, weekly and long-term activity for appointments, interviews, enrollments and follow up with students.
  • Present school with intent to recruit at local events such as corporate partnership meetings, college fairs and other community activities to generate interest in the college.
  • Advise students of admission requirements, transfer guidelines, financial aid, etc.
  • Complete out of office travel for admissions-related events pertinent to assigned programs.
  • Be present in the office on a daily basis (unless arrangements are made with the employee’s direct supervisor.)
  • Abide by NACAC and NACCAP Principles of Good Practice.
  • Contribute to the support and implementation of the College Strategic Plan.
  • Participate in Warner Pacific College professional development opportunities.
  • Adhere to College policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree required.
  • Experience working in a professional office environment.
  • Experience working with diverse populations.
  • Demonstrated ability to efficiently and effectively solve problems and initiate and implement projects independently. 
  • Committed to the transformational value of higher education.
  • Ability to promote the values of higher education in interactions with students.
  • Possess a high degree of empathy and customer service experience.
  • Team player with interpersonal strengths.
  • Ability to adapt and work effectively in a varied-paced or fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work longer hours during busier recruitment/admissions periods.
  • Excellent self-motivation, written communication skills, and the ability to work well with faculty, staff, and students.
  • Excellence in effective oral communication and public presentations.
  • Proficient in computer programs including Windows, Outlook, Word and Excel, and the Internet.
  • Ability to work some evenings in addition to normal office hours of 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Friday
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven success and consistent track records of achieving recruitment/sales goals.
  • Fluent in Spanish language, both conversational and written.
  • CRM knowledge and experience.
