Executive Director for Professional and Graduate Studies

Summary Description: 
This role will serve primarily in an external capacity building relationships with corporations, NGOs, professional associations, community organizations, churches and local and regional affiliates (religious, non-profits, etc.) for the purposes of creating enrollment pipelines and partnerships that support the institution’s enrollment efforts within the Professional and Graduate Students space.

Primary Job Duties:
  • Work with VP for Enrollment and Recruiting to identify entities for collaborative partnerships.
  • Provide VP for Enrollment and Recruiting, the President, and Board with regular updates on the status of the Professional and Graduate Studies Program.
  • Work Collaboratively and where appropriate with Executive Director of Marketing, Vice President for Advancement and the President
  • Primary focus upon recruiting adult and graduate students and supporting all activities associated with this work.
  • Serve on various campus committees as requested.
  • Contribute to the support and implementation of the University Strategic Plan.
  • Participate in Warner Pacific University professional development opportunities.
  • Adhere to University policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to a Christian liberal arts education by upholding the mission of the University and abiding by the Employment Standards and Lifestyle Agreement.
  • Exhibit commitment to inclusiveness and sensitivity in areas of national origin, ethnicity, culture, gender, and disabilities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Skill sets in external relationship building
  • Strategic and organizational agility with the ability to collaborate and communicate with all levels o the organization including internal and external constituencies.
  • Demonstrated ability to efficiently and effectively solve problems and initiate and implement projects independently.
  • Ability to multi-task, work effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate financial information to others and effective public speaking skills.
  • Strong leadership, management, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to make effective decisions based on facts and sound judgment.
  • Proficient in computer programs including Windows, Outlook, Word and Excel, and the Internet.
  • Experience working with diverse populations.
